To use a virtual desktop you need
After installing and configuring a software client (see below), after logging in, you will have access to all virtual desktops provided for you in pools.
Download the “VMware Horizon Client” app to your Apple iPad / iPhone in the Apple AppStore. Configure the app as follows:
Note: An update to version 5.4 is currently available for Apple macOS, which is not compatible with our VDI, so please do not update at the moment.
Download the VMware Horizon Client for Desktops from the data drives

e.g. with the WebFiler and install it. After starting, configure your client as follows:
Download the “VMware Horizon Client” app to your mobile Android device in the Google Play Store. Configure the app as follows:

Components:
Register and start installed service(s) after the installation: activate / scan
Configure your client as follows:

Please do not use the VMware Horizon app from the Windows Store under Microsoft Windows, this app cannot process special characters with “Alt Gr” (e.g. @, € …)
