Your tasks:

• Operation and further development of the student life cycle and research management system of the Jade University based on HIS HISinOne
• Administration of the associated IT infrastructure based on VMware and Puppet
• Support and further development of SOAP and REST interfaces to other IT systems at the university

Your profile:

• The applicant must have a successfully completed university education (Dipl. (FH) / Bachelor) in the field of computer science, information technology or a comparable university degree.

Advantageous knowledge and experience:

• Good knowledge and experience in the above-mentioned areas, demonstrably acquired in professional practice or training
• Practical experience in application administration as well as programming and administration of databases (PostgreSQL)
• Knowledge of the administration and configuration of web-based applications (e.g. Tomcat, XML, XSLT) including versioning (e.g. GIT)
• The ability to analyze complex technical issues and present them in an understandable way
• Strong communication skills and service orientation with a high level of initiative and the ability to work in a team

• Operation and further development of the Shibboleth Identity Provider via SAML and LDAP in the DFN-AAI
• Further development of the central self-service portal with interface to the Identity and Access Management System
• Conception of hybrid and cloud-based solutions in Identity Management with Microsoft Azure or comparable systems
