Linking an Employee with a Telephone/Jabber

After the telephone/Jabber has been created, it needs to be linked to the employee.

  1. Go to the menu “User Management” → End User, search for the employee and select him/her.
  2. Service Settings:
    a. tick off “Home Cluster”
    b. tick off “Enable User for Unifies CM IM and Presence”
  3. Device Association:
    a. search telephone with aid of speed dial
    b. select telephone and/or Jabber
    c. go to Add selected and then back to the user via link
  4. Directory Number Associations:
    a. Primary Extension = Speed Dial + Jade Hochschule + *Location*
