Communication Systems

The communication systems service group of the computing center (HRZ) deals with all topics relating to communication. It offers the following services:

Call Center

The call center service is responsible for the provision and operation of the Cisco Unified Communication component “Call Center”. More information can be found here.

E-Mail

The e-mail service is responsible for the provision and operation of the Microsoft Exchange system for the employees of the Jade University. More information can be found here.

Email for students

The e-mail service for students is responsible for the provision and operation of the e-mail system for students at the Jade University. More information can be found here.

E-Mail Relay

E-Mail Distribution

The e-mail distribution service is responsible for the operation of the Sympa e-mail distribution list management system. More information can be found here.

Jabber

The Jabber service is responsible for the provision and operation of the Cisco Unified Communication component “Cisco Jabber”. More information can be found here.

Telephony

WebEX

The Cisco WebEx Meetings service is currently available in a test phase. Meetings with up to 1000 participants can be held. More information can be found here.
